it's a small world after all.

omggg got a scare of my life my comp blanked out on me! and it blanked out again when i restarted! scary x 1000. panicked and called ack... lolz luckily can restore to last known good configuration. wth... give me this kind of. shock.

went for ri's band concert today. con brio. it was... revitalizing. musically and technically may have areas for improvement, and soundwise the acoustics sucked but the atmosphere was so good. the enthusiam. the spirit. my gosh... how could i have forgotten what the spirit used to be like? the jc atmosphere... was it because the audience was too mature? ha. or was it because of us?

today, the audience joined in wholeheartedly. when the band played 'it's a small world', the audience started singing. clapping was automatic, and everyone was enjoying themselves not because the music was good, not because the auditorium was a nice place, but because the people playing were people that they loved. friends, family... everyone just supported one another. encore was a given. both times didn't even need any hesitation or prompting. the spirit of a community. it's quite a beautiful experience, to join in the whooping and the cheering, to be good-naturedly supporting the ppl that u know, no matter whether they've done well or not.

so 2 years later, a little more grown up, a little more mature = a little love lost? that's quite sad isn't it?
